January Writing Contest Guidelines

Hey Knights! Looking to submit your short story or poem to our contest? Read these directions before sending us your piece.

1) Check out the "How to Submit" page before you email us. It's a lot easier on us if you submit using the specifications we've written.

2) The deadline is Friday, January 18th- we will not be accepting submissions for the contest after midnight on this date. Sorry! But don't worry, we plan to host competitions at least once a month, so keep a lookout for those.

3) Winners will be notified by Friday, January 25th. There will be three winners chosen for each category (only short stories and poetry for this competition). You will receive your doughnut on Friday!

3) Your piece will be featured on this website whether you win or not! Please keep that in mind when you submit your piece.

4) Please, please, please use spell-check and grammar-check. We would love it if we didn't have to go through your entire piece fixing your spelling mistakes and comma blunders. Thank you.

5) Don't hesitate to submit! This is an open forum for students to show off their work, and we want people to feel welcome and safe. There is no commenting allowed on any of the pieces, so no one can criticize you.

6) Feel free to send us any questions you have to our email : theroundtablekhs@gmail.com. We're happy to clarify anything that doesn't make sense!
