O little boy, with shadows in your eyes

Your past darkness consumes your present sun and bright blue skies

The horror you’ve experienced destroys your opportunity

I love you she says and you feel the same but you say otherwise

Poking at her biggest insecurities with the slightest words

Her whole world crashes and burns

The love you have for her, you could sing with a thousand hummingbirds

When you see her your eyes turn into a bright blue ocean

An ocean full of tiny little creatures no one has yet to see

But, when you see her next she holds the hand of a rose without thorns

A berry red rose, flowing o so carefree

O little boy, with tears in your eyes

You have lost your one true love thats brings you bright blue skies

A big old carnival with so many rides

For now you are stuck with your deep dark shadows

And dead thornful roses

O little boy, what have you done
